I am new to ossec.  I have been using logcheck, but that does not compile on solaris 10 and I have decided to try ossec

I can get messages from server about server logs, but my client is not working

 
Have compiled 1.1 on solaris 10 as server

Compiled 1.1 on solaris 8 as client

Message log on server is "2007/05/23 09:27:35 ossec-remoted(1403): Incorrectly formated message from 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx'."

Message log on client is :  "2007/05/23 13:33:07 ossec-agentd(4101): Waiting for server reply (not started)."
