preloaded-vars.conf contains only USER_* variables and shared.sh/functions.sh
not contains or use ant of this variables. I not see any conflicts.

[c0der@rock ~/ossec-hids-1.3]$ grep USER_ src/init/{shared,functions}.sh        
[c1der@rock ~/ossec-hids-1.3]$

Please, completely apply this patch :)

P.S. And tell me why no one of mailing lists not worked now?
