[Ossec-list] v0.8 BETA2 (unix and windows) available

A v0.8 BETA2 version is available for download. It include fixes
for the install and init scripts made by Kayvan Sylvan, some
fixes for the signatures and a correction for the white_lists...

Thanks for everyone who sent feedback and tested the BETA1.

*Please, I still need some feedback regarding the Windows version. Did

OSSEC HIDS v0.8BETA is available for download. It includes a lot of the
new features that is going to be available on the 0.8.

How to help:

-We need to test the Windows version. If you have windows on your network,
please try to install it there. Please report any incorrect
classification of events,
errors on  the install or anything you think should be improved or fixed. We
also support IIS NCSA logs. The install should find the logs and add it to the
config. Let us know about that too. If you run any other IIS format, we would
love to work with you to add support to these other formats.

-Download the new version, install, test, see if you find any problems, errors,
issues, etc.

-If you reported a bug or an issue either privately or on the mailling
list on the v0.7, it should be fixed in this version. If it is not,
please let us know asap. We tried to fix
all reported bugs.

-If you translated parts of the project to your own language, please
test it to make
sure everything is still fine. If you speak any of the languages we
support, please
let us know if you find any error.
