[ossec-list] Problem on email notification

Greetings,

I have installed the new version of OSSEC on a RH-EL4 server,
everything seems fine except the email notification, which comes in
the right time but with a different date! (almost 15 hours ahead)

for example
I receive the email on:
Sun,  2 Sep 2007 02:11:33 +1000 (EST)

the email client shows:
Date: 2/9/07 5:11 PM

The notification on the email body shows:
2007 Sep 02 02:11:20

To track down the problem I checked the following things:

- copied  /etc/localtime to  /var /ossec/etc/localtime but nothing was
changed

- sent a test email using telnet to find any timezone configuration
problem but I got the email with no problem.


Appreciate any comments on that.
