Well, I don't want to ignore all the logs, just specific logs (such as the httpd error log in my example) while still monitoring other logs.
Also, it might be nice to be able specify the clients to ignore the logs on as well, though that's not critical for my situation.

Are you asking to ignore logs for all clients or just some?
If all, then what, may I ask, are you using OSSEC to monitor?
